Symptoms
These beetles can become serious pests that chew on flower petals late in the season. They are especially problematic on daisy-like flowers.
Biology
This group of leaf beetles spend the winter as adults and increase their number over the winter as they multiply on field and vegetable crops.
Management Recommendations
Late in the season in agricultural areas, these beetles can become very abundant and severely damage blooms. Spray blooms with an insecticide to prevent further injury.
