Symptoms

Thinning tree crown, small leaves and branch dieback are often symptoms of trees with sap streak. Problem gets progressively worse, but the sap streak symptom isn't observed until the tree is removed. All trees are susceptible to decline and dieback; sap streak can only infect maples and boxelders.
