Symptoms


Isolated holes chewed on tender leaves or flowers of a wide variety of shrubs in late May and early June. Adults may feed on tougher leaf tissue. Rarely if ever cause significant damage.

Biology


Wintering as eggs on twigs they hatch into grasshopper like nymphs in spring. Become adults in summer and lay eggs on twigs or leaves. Actively feed at night.
